Monthly testing

The Emergency Management team sends a test alert to the UCSafety mobile app and the desktop of all UCalgary-managed devices on the second Wednesday of every month.

Testing allows the campus community to become familiar with the UCSafety app and the desktop alerts function, and ensures that all members of the UCalgary community are receiving messages. Test alerts will include safety and security-related information that can save lives, prevent injury and protect property.

If you do not receive a test alert each month, please check your app settings or contact the Emergency Management team at emergencymgmt@ucalgary.ca.
